RIP Renshi Jim Webb Sr.

Renshi Jim Webb Sr. was a wonderful Karate Instructor I studied under him for 5 years earning my blue belt which was 4 belts in at his Dojo. He taught me many things including the one thing he hated to teach and that was weapons.

I had to stop training with them due to money problems, but then I learned later that not too long after I quit they closed down for the same reason.

Then about 3 years ago I was searching online trying to find out if Renshi Jim Webb Sr. still taught martial arts as I was interested in picking up my lessons again and I found a video dedicated to him.

The Video was called Jim Webb 40 years in the making (video in next post). I watched it and it brought back so many memories from studying with them; and I commented that it brought back so many memories.

His daughter Becky and I spoke through youtube and I found out that he had died in 2010 and I nearly started crying; sure I didn't know him outside of the Dojo, but he was still a great man and teacher and it hurt.
